Bloom Nyumbani provides at-home hair care for girls aged 2–14 years. Our service is designed around children, so appointments are approached with patience, gentle handling and age-appropriate styling.

Every package includes the complete hair-care process: detangling, washing, conditioning, treatment, drying and professional styling. We also bring the products, tools and equipment required for the appointment. Listed package prices include the at-home service within Nairobi.

Bloom Natural is for styles using the child’s natural hair. Bloom Enhanced is for natural styles using added hair for extra length, shape or fullness. Bloom Braids is for fully braided protective styles, including twists. Our WhatsApp team can help match the preferred look to the correct package.

No. Braiding hair, extensions, beads and special accessories are sold separately. The package price covers the complete hair-care and styling service. Any additional hair or decorative accessories needed for the selected look will be discussed separately.

Yes. Your stylist arrives with quality, trusted-brand, child-friendly products, sanitised tools and the equipment required for the appointment. You do not need to buy shampoo, conditioner or treatment products unless you prefer that we use products already selected for your child.

Yes. Parents may provide preferred products, particularly where a child follows a specific routine or has known sensitivities. The package price remains unchanged because the stylist still provides the full appointment, equipment, time and professional service.

Send a WhatsApp message with your child’s details and preferences, preferred package or hairstyle, Nairobi location, preferred date, ideal time and any allergies or scalp sensitivities. A photo is not required, although an inspiration image may help explain the preferred style.

No. Sending a message creates a booking request, not an automatic confirmation. Bloom Nyumbani first checks stylist availability, location, timing and the service required. Please treat the appointment as booked only after receiving our confirmation message.

Yes, same-day requests are welcome when a suitable stylist is available. Availability depends on the requested time, location, package and stylist schedule. Booking earlier gives us a better chance of arranging your preferred time.

Bloom Nyumbani currently provides at-home services within Nairobi. Please share your location or neighbourhood when booking so that we can check availability and assign a stylist based on proximity and suitability. Travel within Nairobi is included in the package price.

Booking requests are accepted for appointments during our operating hours: daily, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Your preferred time remains subject to stylist availability and booking confirmation.

Payment is made through M-Pesa at the time of service. We do not currently require a booking deposit, and cash is not accepted. Payment instructions are shared as part of the confirmed appointment process.

Yes. A responsible parent or guardian must remain present throughout the appointment. This helps ensure the child is comfortable, the preferred style is understood and any service decisions can be approved.

Please tell us about allergies, scalp sensitivity, product reactions, tender areas or relevant hair and scalp concerns. We do not proceed where there are infections, open sores or conditions requiring medical attention.

Only with clear parental or guardian consent. Bloom Nyumbani does not photograph or publish a child’s image without explicit permission. Consent is optional and does not affect the service received.

We will contact you as soon as possible. Where possible, Bloom Nyumbani will arrange another suitable stylist. If a replacement is unavailable, we will work with you to agree on another appointment time.
